Jirehouse Capital, an English legal practice based in London adopt iSentry Digital Handshake in 2012 to speed up contract and agreement signing between themselves, their clients and their business partners.
Jirehouse have announced plans to start using the iSentry Digital Handshake (DHS) within their existing iSentry Digital Content Exchange (DCX) through the use of the new DCX Workflow extensions. Jirehouse Principal Stephen David Jones , said: “We have been using DCX to send and receive confidential information for several years now and we have used the e-Signing functionality within DCX on many occasions. The recent release of DCX Workflow means that we will be able to use DCX to collect multiple signatures, both electonically and on paper. We believe this will significantly speed up our turnaround time, whilst at the same time continuing to give us the audit trails, compliance and security that we already get from iSentry today”.
iSentry’s Digital Content Exchange (DCX) is a server based, secure email platform the allows organisations and individuals to seamlessly deliver and exchange confidential information. Supporting both individual message and web service based batch processing, Digital Content Exchange is used by some of the World’s biggest financial companies to send millions of packages a year. iSentry’s Digital Handshake (DHS) is a standards-based electronic signature solution that allows financial institutions, government agencies, and corporate departments to eliminate dependency on physical paper, wet signatures and manual routing procedures. More than just a platform for eliminating paper processes, DHS has been specifically designed to accommodate hybrid paper and electronic document processes. This key design consideration puts DHS in a unique class of electronic signatures solutions and provides financial, government and corporate institutions with a manageable way to transition from paper to electronic signature based processes.
DCX was recently extended to include DCX Workflow which leverages the iSentry DHS to allow clients to use the workflow signing scenarios with DCX to setup transactions for one or more signers. Each signer will receive the package in turn, they will be able to review the documents within the package, view and verify that the previous signers in the transaction have indeed signed the package and finally sign or reject the package themselves. Whenever a signing occurs the e-signature of the signer is added to the package and also embedded into any PDF documents within the package. The signers and the initiatior receive email notifications as the package works it’s way through the signing sequence and the completed package with all the embedded e-signatures is then returned to the initiator. All the signing transactions take place within the DCX framework and this allows for all the same customization as in a standard DCX system which includes the option to paperout if required.
Gareth Evans, CIO of iSentry said: ” It’s taken a while but the markets and sectors we work in appear to be rapidly accepting the benefits of eSigning. Working with our US partners we successfully launched DCX Workflow late in 2011 , the first adopter in the US financial sector being one of the world’s largest financial firms. We are delighted to welcome Jirehouse as our first adopter in the legal space and we look forward to helping them enjoy a successful 2012 as they leverage DCX Workflow within their businesses”
